How to Predict Your Baby’s Gender Based on a Mathematical Formula

Lisa R. Parker

There are many different methods of determining the gender of the baby and there are plenty of ways to predict what the future baby’s gender will be. Some of them are only traditions that have been transferred from one generation to another, and others have scientific proof which gives them the necessary credibility.

The following approach has been tried out so many different times and it always turns out to be extremely successful. It is based on medical research of the human body and the changes that happen in it. Namely, it is said that the levels of hormones change periodically and its time frame was deduced to four years. This four-year-period would be the starting point when mathematically trying to predict the gender of the baby.

Also, as starting information we will need the dates of birth of the mother and the father of the baby. What we do, is calculate how old they are at the moment of conception and then divide the number of their years with four. The person who has got a smaller number as a remainder from the division, is the person whose gender the baby would take.

In order to illustrate this more specifically, we would use the following example. For a mother at the age of 28, the remainder is 0 (28/4=7, i.e. there is no remainder in this division). If the father is 30, his remainder is 2. (30/4=7 and the remainder is 2). That means if this couple conceived at the moment, they would probably have a girl, as the mother’s remainder figure is lower than the father’s.

Furthermore, if there are equal figures with the division of the two parents’ ages, there are some good chances that the couple would have twins. For instance, if the father is 25, and the mother is 21, they certainly do have great shot to welcome twins. We can conclude this, if we divide their ages’ numbers by four, and in both of the cases we get to the same result, that is the remainder from both the divisions is 1, which gives them an equal chance of having both boy and a girl.

However, what is really important is the baby’s conception date. It can substantially affect this mathematical prediction if the conception happens very closely to the date of birth to one of the parents. It is especially so if it is one of the years of their four-year-cycle, when the body experiences changes in hormone levels. As perfect as it is, human body still needs some time to allow these changes to occur and they do not happen overnight, but they would need a period of several days and even up to a week. That is why, we stress the birth date and the days/weeks around it as days to be careful about when trying to apply this approach. For example, if the person’s birthday is in that exact month when the conception happens or a week or two prior or after it, it can easily change the balance and make some changes in the body. Due to that, this entire procedure could become invalid.

Just to make sure that you get the gender of the baby you want, you can check if this mathematical prediction applies to you and your partner. If you already have some children, check with their conception dates and see how this works for you. There are some chances that you are one of those rare couples, where the opposite rule applies, i.e. with some people, it is not the person who has got a lower remainder number with the division whose gender the baby inherits, but on the contrary, it is the person who has got a higher figure. Nevertheless, the rule still applies even to such pairs, but they simply need to calculate for the bigger number.

Having this information, you can calculate what the gender of the baby you are going to have is if you are pregnant at the moment. It is also useful as a reference if you are planning on having a child, as you can create a list of time periods that are potential conception dates for you if you are aiming towards a particular gender of your baby. The only thing to be careful about are the months of birth and the weeks around the specific birth dates.
