NORTHPORT, Clean. (AP) — The Stevens County sheriff claims a 15-yr-outdated South Korean trade pupil is lacking and presumed drowned in the Columbia River in northeast Washington.
KHQ-Television set reviews (http://is.gd/3hcUe3) that Sheriff Kendle Allen claims the boy has not been found considering that Thursday afternoon when term came in that he experienced grown worn out although swimming off a boat launch at the city park in Northport.
The boy reportedly was swimming with at the very least a person other teenager about 20 feet out from the dock when he began to battle. The second teenager swam back again safely. A reserve deputy who lives close by responded immediately in his boat and started a lookup.
Boaters and divers have not been capable to locate the boy.
The sheriff says the boy was remaining with a host family members in Northport.
