West Fargo Community Colleges acknowledges two staff users with prestigious awards
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Assistant Principal Rachel Bachmeier gets the District Administrative Personnel of the Yr award for her contributions considering the fact that getting a teacher in 2016.
She was the dean of students for two yrs, afterwards starting to be the assistant principal.
Bachmeier has been announced as the upcoming principal of West Fargo Large college, successful July 1st.
Suzanne McTiver receives the District Categorized Workers of the Year Award. McTiver is a specific instruction teacher performing with the district considering that 1994.
“I was one of all those little ones that normally preferred to be a teacher. You know, you would set up the faux classroom in the basement and then around my K-12 experience just experienced a lot of astounding, wonderful educators. And desired to give again in the way that they gave to me,” Bachmeier explained.
“For parents that have experienced students from West Fargo High Faculty, I wanna tell them thank you. Thank you for sending your children to college. Thank you for considering that education is essential and thank you for allowing for me to assist your kids turn into far better college students,” McTiver explained.
Both winners received a crystal apple, bouquets, a $500 check from the West Fargo Academic Basis and a present from the district and faculty board.
Every will be honored at the district’s recognition celebration in May.
